There are instructions on the Contextures website for creating a <a href="http://www.contextures.com/excel-pivot-table-calculated-field.html" rel="nofollow">calculated field in a pivot table</a>. Joseph, a calculated field is created within a pivot table, by using the Formulas command on the Ribbon’s Option tab, while a pivot table cell is selected.
