Pivot Table Fears Voting Results

Here are the voting results, from all the valid entries. Of course, I summarized the votes into a pivot table, and you can see the top responses in the pivot chart below.

Surprisingly, the top response was, “Everything scares me!”, with almost twice as many votes as the next response (“How do you insert a Calculated Field?”).

I’ll be covering these topics in upcoming weeks, to help you get over some of those pivot table fears.

  5. You are fabulous – Creating “hyperlinks” in Pivot tables was refreshingly brilliant! Thank you ever-so-much!

    I’ve got it working perfectly but was attempting to make it ACT that way on 2 fields, but can’t seem to modify the code precisely enough – thoughts?

    Option Explicit

    Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
    Dim selPF As PivotField
    Dim strField As String

    strField = “LDBContractIDlink”
    strField = “SFDCContractIDlink”

    On Error Resume Next
    Set selPF = Target.PivotField
    If Not selPF Is Nothing Then
    If selPF.Name = strField Then
    ThisWorkbook.FollowHyperlink _
    Address:=Target.Value, NewWindow:=True
    End If
    End If
